  • Santana Couch needs regular mowing every seven to ten days, as it does not grow very quickly.

Queensland Blue Couch is a coarse dense leaf couch and is different from the rest of the green couches.

Bermuda Grand Carpet Grass (TM)has a broader leaf than the rest of the grass varieties.

  • It is a coarse-textured species of grass but is more drought tolerant and better suited for the drier climates.
  • It has shallow roots in dense soils and is typically the dominant species in low fertile soils.
  • Bermuda Grand Carpet Grass grows extremely quickly in warmer climates and needs mowing every seven days but does have great coverage for the non-enthusiastic home gardener.

  • This turf is well suited to low nutrient conditions ie. Coastal sandy soils.
  • This grass is suited for schools, parks, acreage lawns and nature strips etc.
  • Tropica Couch will naturally suppress weeds making better than Queensland blue couch, Tropica handles dry conditions better than Queensland blue but still needs regular watering.
